Elaine quit her job working for a famous architect and picked up the accordion hoping to find an alternative career in the circus. On Saturdays, she aspires to be a French chef. She also sometimes performs enthusiastic rock anthems with a ladies string quartet, and remembers learning to drive a tugboat in the Brooklyn Navy Yard as one of the highlights of her life in New York.
