The Main Squeeze Orchestra

Denise Koncelik

Denise was born a cheese-head, raised on corn-fed beef, endured years of BBQ’d brisket and Tex-Mex, and is finally home in bagel, babka and bialy-land. In her former lives, she was a university instructor, symphony musician, and worked on a bond trade desk.

For the MSO, She plays a Guilietti Bass Accordion – named Romeo.  She is a proud player of a 72-bass white Main Squeeze Royal Beauty Line Rudolph, and Thelma and Luisa are her two standard 120- bass piano accordions. She still has her first Scandalli 120 bass, Vinnie. He is on death row, waiting for a either a call from the governor or a resuscitatory reed-switch renovation.
